Children's dentistry

We recommend your child's first visit by their 1st birthday, or when their first tooth comes through. Early visits are short, gentle and focused on familiarising them with the chair, the "tooth counter" and our team.

Bring a favourite toy, a comforter, and dress them in loose, comfy clothes. Parents are welcome in the chair area throughout the visit.

• Habit guidance: thumb-sucking, dummies and early orthodontic assessment

Eligible children (2 – 17 years) can receive up to $1,132 of basic dental services every two calendar years under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. We bulk-bill all CDBS-eligible treatment — no out-of-pocket cost. Bring your Medicare card on the day and we'll check eligibility on the spot.

Our kids' corner has books, soft toys and a sticker reward chart. Every visit ends with a brushing chart, a sticker and a new toothbrush. Many kids ask to come back — and we'll consider that a win.
